As a successor of the lAF-D 50mm f/1.8, this fits juxtaposed with entry-level body such as D3100 and D5100 (which does not support Auto focus with AF-D) because I haven’t bought the lens yet, I couldn’t describe it. Canon has officially announced a new series DLSR camera Canon EOS 600D which is the highest-level entry for the moment, this camera has long been rumored till we can see the certification of the product in South Korea. 

Anything that differs from its predecessor the EOS 550D series? There is not much different in terms of technical spesification.
