canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II on camIn my opinion, this lens is the lens “WHICH IS MUST HAVE” for novice photographers. with large openings, making its lens flexible for any light conditions, even in poor lighting conditions .. I prefer to use this lens for portrait photos, because with large openings, the resulting images can be more attractive by utilizing the 'bokeh' background image .. suitable for beginners to learn about the DOF (depth of field) even though pro photographers still enjoy using this lens.
it's just that there is a shortage of these lenses, the AF sometimes inaccurate. so I’m often use manual focus lenses .. but the result of this lens absolutely has no doubt, well isolated objects from the background, of course, with openings that fit.
